I never thought about blinds as being energy efficient but it totally makes sense. My landlord got them for us and he installed them too. We like them for the tv because we can adjust the darkness, and they are great for temperature control too. My girlfriend hung some nice curtains over them so it’s like they aren’t even there! Best of both worlds, got to ask the landlord to order more.

I just received and installed my cellular shades. I was very impressed with the quality of the shades for the price. The installation was quite easy. We installed 6 large windows in less than two hours. The shades go up and down very easily. I bought the light filtering ones and in late afternoon with the shades down my room is still extremely bright therefore if you want your room a bit darker go with the room darkening ones. I just wish the handles they provide matched the color of the shade. Otherwise great purchase!
