They create a barrier against the transfer of heat
The double-layered fabric creates an excellent insulation barrier between the interior and exterior of my RV window. On hot summer day, there a different of about 20 degrees between the inside and outside when the shades are fully lowered. The style is child safe and they look beautiful.
